Information We Collect

Website: Our website (3dsynth.app) is a static site. It does not load analytics scripts and does not use cookies for tracking. The community print gallery, when shown, reads a public catalog from Firestore over HTTPS.

Web app analytics: The interactive app at app.3dsynth.app uses Plausible for privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (aggregate page views only). Plausible is not loaded in the desktop app or in file:// builds.

Session analytics (with consent): With your explicit opt-in, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the web app through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity uses first-party cookies and is only loaded after you consent via the startup dialog. In-app details: Privacy & analytics (docs).

Desktop Application: The 3dSynth desktop application runs entirely on your local computer. Your designs, settings, and G-code files are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your design data.

Community Library: If you publish a design to the in-app Community Library, the metadata and files you choose to share are stored with the library provider (see in-app terms when uploading).

Purchases

Purchases are processed through Gumroad. When you make a purchase, Gumroad collects your payment information and email address according to their own Privacy Policy. We receive the information needed to provide license keys and product updates.
